The LEKI Ultratrail FX.One is a four-section folding carbon trail running pole designed for runners who want a capable, lightweight pole across the full range of trail and mountain terrain. Carbon (HRC max) sections give it a stiff, responsive feel and a weight of 167 g per pole at 120 cm — meaningfully lighter than its aluminium equivalent and noticeably lighter than the previous generation of this model. The 37 cm pack size sits cleanly in a vest pole pocket, and the Push-Button folding mechanism collapses the pole at the press of a button without releasing the grip.

The Trail Trigger Shark grip carries a foam contact surface and integrates the Trigger Shark strap-release interface directly into the grip body. Pressing the button allows the Shark Frame Strap Mesh to click free from the grip instantly, leaving the strap on the wrist while the poles are stowed or carried. For runners who regularly transition between using and carrying poles, this is one of the most practical strap systems available.

The Ultratrail FX.One is available in six fixed lengths from 110 to 135 cm in 5 cm steps. Selecting the correct length at purchase is important as there is no adjustment mechanism.

What’s new for SS26: Purple/pink graphics in Bright Red / Violet / Neon Yellow. The grip extender present on the SS25 model has been removed. Weight has been reduced — 167 g at 120 cm versus 182–190 g on the SS25 generation. The Trail Shark grip of SS25 has been replaced by the Trail Trigger Shark, adding the click-in/click-out Trigger interface. The other colourway is available as the Ultratrail FX.One (LE65625852).

Product Specs

Grip▼Trail Trigger Shark grip in 1K Foam, Standard size. The foam contact surface is lightweight and fast-drying. The Trigger Shark interface is integrated directly into the back of the grip body: pressing the button releases the Shark Frame Strap Mesh so the hand can exit the strap instantly without removing it from the wrist. This is the updated grip for SS26, replacing the Trail Shark of SS25, and adds the Trigger click-release function to what was previously a fixed-strap interface. The grip extender previously fitted to this model has been removed for SS26, giving a cleaner, lighter grip profile.

Strap▼Shark Frame Strap Mesh — a structured, ventilated click-in strap designed for the Trigger Shark interface. The strap is size-specific and matched to pole length at purchase: S-M-L for 110–115 cm poles, M-L-XL for 120–135 cm poles. The strap remains on the wrist when released from the grip, allowing poles to be stowed without removing the strap.

Folding system▼Push-Button folding mechanism. The four sections collapse at the press of a button on the pole body, without requiring the hand to leave the grip. Folded pack size is 37 cm (measured at 120 cm pole length). This is a fixed-length pole — there is no length adjustment once assembled. Select the correct size at purchase.

Tip and basket▼Trail Running Tip One Size (Carbide) — supplied as part of the lower section, optimised for fast trail ground contact. Trail Running Basket supplied. Rubber pad also included for road and hard-surface use. Replacement lower sections (which include the tip) are available as spare parts by pole length.
